Biography:
AUBURN - Laurier R. Lagrange, 91, a lifelong resident of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 30th. He was born on September 10, 1933, the son of Arthur Lagrange and Rose Nadeau Lagrange.
He was predeceased by his best friend, the love of his life and wife of 66 years, Germaine Ouellette Lagrange. He was also predeceased by all 10 of his siblings, Aldea, Wilbrod, Isabel, Eddie, Noella, Yolande, Fleurette, Ronald, Gerald and Leopold. He is survived by man nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, Great Grand nieces and nephews.
Laurier worked at the Bates & Continental Mills and Knapp Shoe.
Laurier and Germaine traveled to Rome, Holy Land, Hawaii, Canada and many places within the United States including Florida Parris Island SC, California and Las Vegas. They also had a camper site at Muskegon Campgrounds where they enjoyed relaxing on weekends. Uncle Larry and Aunt Germaine were an inspiring couple in their faith and enjoyment in life ! They were both deeply involved in weekly prayer meetings with the Prince of Peace Parish.
The family would like to express our greatest appreciation to the professional medical staff at St. Mary's ER/ICU, Clover Manor Rehabilitation, and Odd Fellows Assisted Living Home, for their dedicated support for all the elderly within our community.
In lieu of flowers, please hug one another in peace and love, and/or donations to the Scholarship Fund at St. Dominic's Academy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Basilica in the chapel on Thursday, December 12th at 11A.M., with burial at St. Peter's Cemetery.
