Biography:
AUBURN-Marie R. Lagassie 80, of 68 Middle Rd. Sabattus, ME passed away peacefully onOctober 25th, 2014 at the Hospice House in Auburn with her friend Carl Dinsmore by her side.
She was born on November 29th, 1933 in Hebron to parents John and Yvonne Lavigne.
She worked at Geiger Bros. for many years. Marie was an avid beano player. She played each week, and was very lucky. She also enjoyed crocheting, and knitting. Marie loved her cat, Thelma, very much.
She is survived by her sister Claire Oldham of Roseville, CA; her grandson, Matthew; and her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Robert Lavigne; sisters: Marguerite Denis Brown, Laura Vachon, Doris Lavigne; her late husband, Earl Lagassie; and a son, Michael Fortin.
