John Craig Ladd

Biography:

Norway- John Craig Ladd, 68, of Norway, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway.

John was born in Norway on September 15, 1943, the son of Robert P. Ladd, Jr. and Lenore N. (Carroll) Ladd.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked for U.P.S. for 30 years.

He enjoyed watching his three boys play sports, visiting with his grandkids, listening to country music, long country rides with Doug, and watching Dick Wing restore his 67’ Chevy.

John was predeceased by his mother, father, and his sister Judith Ladd.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Carol (Moore) Ladd, his sons; James Ladd and his wife Pam of South Paris, and children Brooke and Connor,  Jon Ladd and his wife Kate of Winthrop, and children Brady, Tyler, Emma, and Isabelle, and Daniel Ladd and his wife Casey of Carlsbad, CA, and children Ella, Trevor, and Andrew.  He is also survived by his brothers; Lenwood and his wife Sandra, and Robert and his wife Eileen and several nieces and nephews.

Per John’s request, there will be no formal service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John’s honor to the Oxford Hills Athletic Boosters, C/O Athletic Office OHCHS 256 Main Street South Paris, ME. 04281
