Biography:

Carol Anne (Moore) Ladd, 77, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October
24, 2021.
Carol was born in Lewiston on September 11, 1944, the daughter of William Aubrey Moore
and Dorothy (Feeny) Moore.
Carol worked at Norway Savings Bank for many years after raising her three boys with her late
husband, John Ladd. She spent a lot of time carting her kids, and whoever else needed a ride,
to practices, games or the golf course. The Ladd’s backyard was also where there was always a
ball game to be played and Carol welcomed and took care of all who showed up. She enjoyed
working in her yard and gardens, Kohls shopping trips with her friend Donna, spending time
with her grandchildren and going for long rides. Carol will be remembered as a caring and
selfless soul who only had kind words for everyone she met.
Carol was predeceased by her husband John. Her mother and father, sister Nancy and brother
James.
She is survived by her sons; Jim Ladd and his wife Pam of South Paris, and children Brooke
and Connor, Jon Ladd of Norway and his children Brady, Tyler, Emma and Isabelle, and Dan
Ladd and his wife Casey of Encinitas, CA, and children Ella, Trevor and Andrew. She is also
survived by great grandchild Lainey and special niece and nephew Debbie and Mike Mann.
A very special thanks to the whole team from Elite Home Care who spent many days with
Mom and became a part of the family…Marie and Dozer, Laurie, Angie, Alyssa and all who
spent time with Mom…Thank You.
Per Carol's request, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made in Carol’s honor to the Oxford Hills Athletic Boosters, C/O Athletic Office OHCHS,
