Biography:
Susan L. LaFrance, 44, of Sabattus, and formerly of Florida, passed away on February 12th, 2011 at the Hospice House.
She was born on November 12th, 1966 in Lewiston, the daughter of Edward and Pauline (Landry) LaFrance.
Susan went to St. Dominic High School. After graduation she went to nursing school at Mid State College and received her Certified Nursing Assistant license. She was a long time employee of C.M.M.C. She later went on to work and reside in Florida. Upon returning to Maine she resided in Sabattus.
She enjoyed skiing, winter sports, and motorcycles.
Susan is survived by her daughter Crystal LaFrance; her parents; grandchildren Kaylee and Landon LaFrance; aunts Rita Dick and husband Dominique, Joan Blouin; uncles; and cousins.
Susan’s family would like to thank C.M.MC., The Hospice House, and Susan’s friends, family, aunts, and uncles, for their assistance and wonderful care.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial Mass on Tuesday, February 22nd, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 131 High Street, Sabattus, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Ste 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
