Biography:

Donald Harry Kincaid passed away peacefully at home on December 1, 2014 on Chebeague Island, ME of natural causes with his wife, Annette, by his side.

Born February 9, 1927 in El Centro, CA to Harry E. and Grace M. Kincaid, the family moved to Piedmont, CA where Don was active in the Boy Scouts of America, proudly attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Don graduated from Piedmont High School in 1944 and enlisted in the Marine Corps toward the end of WWII when he turned 17. He returned from the Marines to UC Berkeley and then Golden Gate College of the Law where he earned his law degree at night while working full-time to support his young family.

Admitted to the California Bar in 1955, Don was an accomplished trial lawyer and partner in several Bay Area defense firms, retiring as the senior partner of Kincaid, Gianunzio, Caudle & Hubert in 1989. In retirement he enjoyed spending time on the golf course in Graeagle, CA and Palm Desert, CA, moving east to Yarmouth, ME in 2005 before finally settling on Chebeague Island.

Predeceased by his parents, brother Robert M. Kincaid and sister-in-law Irmgard Kincaid, all of Piedmont, CA, Don is survived by his wife of 31 years, Annette Kincaid, of Chebeague Island, and his children Tom Kincaid of Alameda, CA and Peggy Kincaid of Piedmont, CA.

At his request, no services will be held.
