Biography:
Charles A. Johnson Jr., 63. Of Auburn passed away on March 19th, 2018 at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was born in Lewiston on September 27th, 1954 to parents Charles and Eva Johnson.
Charles was a devoted self-employed mechanic, and dedicated his time to working on cars. He owned his own garage, “Dun Rite Auto repair”
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Johnson of auburn; 4 sons, Charles Johnson III of Arizona, James Johnson of Oklahoma, Jason wing of Auburn, and Chester Wing of Hebron; daughters, Melony Wing of Hebron and Brandy Shadle of Auburn; and many many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; 4 sisters, Madelyn Grover and her husband Denis of Poland, Charlene Beaudry of Lewiston, Carol A.J. Charest and husband Ron of Lewiston, and Beth Selleck and her husband Brian of Poland; and a sister-in-law, Linda Johnson of Poland.
Charles was predeceased by his parents; 2 brothers, Bert Johnson and Michael Johnson; and a niece, Rebecca Grover.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6-8pm at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, Maine. A celebration of life will follow at Charles’ sister’s home.
