Biography:

HARPSWELL – Frederick G. Hyde, Age 67, Died January 14, 2019 at the home of his devoted friend, Cindy French.

Rick was born in Washington D C, March 26th 1951 to Earl and Geraldine Hyde.   He spent summers most of his life in South Harpswell and moved to Harpswell permanently in 2003.

He attended Virginia Commonwealth University.

He was an avid salt water fisherman and spent his free time doing what he loved, fishing in Casco Bay.  He previously worked in the cell phone tower construction industry and later had a landscape business in Harpswell.

He is predeceased by his sister Nancy P Hyde and parents Earl and Geraldine Hyde.  He is survived by two brothers, James G Hyde and Stephen M Hyde, sister-in-law Susan B Hyde, nieces Ashley and Jamie Hyde and nephews Aaron and Robert Hyde

Service will be in May when his ashes will be spread from the Harpswell Town Dock at his request.
