Robert 'Bob' C Huntington, Sr, 82, passed away surrounded by family December 28, 2024 in Auburn. A 1960 graduate of Leavitt Institute, he married Nancy French April 6, 1963. Together they have 3 sons: Bobby (Sue), Timmy (Ruth) and Chad all of Turner. Grandchildren are Luke, and Ashley (Corey Denman), and great grandchildren Colin, Avery and Owen Denman of Ipswich, Ma. He is also survived by sister in law Cynthia French. He was predeceased by his in-laws Persis and Charles French and Aunt Pat, who loved him like a son.
Bob worked most of his life in the apple business for Prince Farms before going to L/P Farms. He helped build and worked at Highland Golf Course, and also worked for the Town of Turner Highway Department.
Nancy & Bob spent 30 years at Ocean View Park Campground where he worked as a maintenance man while enjoying his love of boating, fishing and clamming. They spent 20 years as snowbirds in Melbourne Village, Florida tending to his 52 different fruit trees, enjoying friends and working for Friday morning Parks and Paths. The last few summers were filled with camping in his buddy's yard and lobstering. When at home, gardening and taking care of his grapes filled his time.
