Sherrald “Sherry” A. “Cunningham “Hilton

Sherry Hilton passed away peacefully on Thursday April 10,2025 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with COPD.

Born on June 11,1965, in Brunswick. She was the cherished daughter of Everett and Anne Cunningham. A graduate of Brunswick High School, Sherry dedicated over 20 years of her life working as a CNA at Freeport Nursing Home, where her compassionate heart and humor touched countless lives. She went on to do Home Healthcare until her health started declining.

Sherry was known for her quick wit, vibrant spirit, and the love she had for her family and friends. Her home was always filled with laughter, love and open to all.

She was predeceased by her father Everett Cunningham. Sherry is survived by her three children, Jessica Bourgoin (Jake Ellison), Erika Hilton (David Green), and Joshua Hilton. Her loving mother Anne Cunningham, her brother Edward “Eddie” Cunningham and his children Shelby, Edward, Isabella, Taylor, Destiny, Britney, Summer and Piper. Along with several great nieces and nephews, whom she adored.  She also leaves behind her devoted partner, Rusty Myatt, who remained by her side through everything.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June. Further details to be announced.
