Biography:

Michelle Marie Hilliker, 69, of Lewiston Maine passed away at her home on May 24, 2024.  She was born in Lewiston on September 17, 1954 to Joseph Marcel Comeau and Lorraine Landry Comeau. Her greatest pride and joy was in being a mother, raising and teaching her children, and loving them unconditionally. She loved to read and had varied and eclectic interests, including all cultural beliefs and religions, and she believed in constantly learning new things. She found happiness in the natural world, especially in animals, and spent many hours laughing at the antics of her pets and the local wildlife.  An artist at heart, she made hundreds of beautiful crocheted blankets, and when she was sure her family was warm and safe she began to donate them to the local community at River Valley Village and to Androscoggin Hospice House. Her generosity was limitless for anyone in need and she hoped to give comfort to those starting a new journey. Her greatest desire was to make the world a more beautiful place, and she often stopped to appreciate simple things like the perfection of a pinecone or "cocotte". Her open mind, unique perspective, sense of humor and love will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by both parents, and is survived by her daughter Andrea and her husband Dave Higson,  her sons Matthew Tremblay and Levi Hilliker, her granddaughter Madeline Higson and her wife Opal, her dog Jake, and her four brothers, Ron, Frank. Lawrence and Gregory Comeau. 
Celebration of Life to be held privately on June 20th.
