Biography:

Cindy Lou Hazelton—Lewiston--Cindy Lou Hazelton, 65, passed away on October 31 at her home in Lewiston. She was the daughter of Linwood L. Keene and Jean L. Martin and was born on July 17, 1956. She enjoyed her family, camping, playing cards, bingo, going to the beach and cookouts. Cindy especially enjoyed the time she spent with her great grandson, Ian Thomas MacFarland. She loved him with all her heart and soul. She spent so much time with him and loved having him help her in the kitchen, whether it was cleaning or cooking, he was right beside his nana. Cindy began her working years at Knapp Shoe in Lewiston. Her main career was being a CNA and Med Tech at Bolster Heights. She cared for her patients with love and compassion for 31 years and recently retired. Cindy was predeceased by her brothers, Walter Keene and Randy Martin and her sister, Cheryl Spencer. She is survived by her husband Harold Hazelton, her daughter, Tina Hazelton and spouse John Breton, her son, Harold Hazelton Jr., her son David Hazelton and his wife Stephanie and her son, Johnathan Hazelton. She is also survived by her sisters, Gail Komanetsky and husband Paul, Marilyn Storman and Carrie Dulac, her brothers, Jeff Martin and wife Diane, Brian Martin, Michael Keene and Gary Keene. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Anthony, Brandon and Christopher Hazelton and her great grandchild, Ian Thomas MacFarland and also an extended family of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Her family would like to invite everyone to come and celebrate her with us. We will have a celebration of her life on Saturday, November 13 at the American Legion Post 150 in Mechanic Falls from 1-4 p.m. We will have a potluck so if you would like to bring a dish, we would love that.
