Biography:

Freeport, Barbara C. Haskell, 84, of Freeport, Maine died at her home on November 25th, 2021. She was born on June 10, 1937, a daughter of the late J. Stanley Hilton Sr. and Christine Hilton.

Barbara worked for Pineland Hospital in New Gloucester from 1946 until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed knitting, baking, and mostly spending time with her family.

Barbara was predeceased by her brother Joseph Hilton and a sister Shirley Mitchell

She is survived by her sister Beverly Langley of Standish, Judy Bickford of Newfield, her daughter Sharon Anderson and husband Roger, her sons Rhodes, C. Haskell and his wife Kim of Newfield, Mark S. Haskell of Newfield as well as by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on December 12th at 1Pm at the Freeport Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 63 Pownal Rd. Freeport with refreshments to follow. Arrangements are in the care of Funeral Alternatives, 46 bath Rd. Brunswick. Condolences may be shared at Funeralalternatives.net
