Eugene Thomas Hart was born on October 13, 1934 and passed away on February 5, 2020 .

Gene is survived by his wife Maureen (Nee Plaskon), his son Christopher of Bangor, his daughter Jayne Hart Bechard, grandson Seth, son in law Jared of Brunswick, and a sister Joan Hart of Forest Hills, NY

Gene was born in Queens New York. After a career in Electrical Engineering on Long Island he and Maureen retired to Jonesport Maine and later moved to Topsham, Maine.

Gene had a lifelong interest in science and technology. He was attentive to democracy, world affairs, and environmental issues. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed music and photography.

Gene’s family will remember him in a private ceremony.
