Biography:

David Lawrence Harris, Sr., 66, of South Paris passed away on Monday August 1, 2022. He was born in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, August 9, 1955, son of Robert W. Harris & Gloria Brown.

At a young age he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was a roofer and painter. He enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, BBQs, and just spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by two brothers, Phillip & Charles, his sister, Gloria, sons, Jeremy, David Jr., and John, grandchildren Mariah, Cameron, Jordan, Aurora, & Parker, many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

He was predeceased by both his parents, his step-father Paul King, brothers, Robert & James, sisters, Dorothy, Sharon & Ada.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday September 4, 2022 from 1- 4pm at the VFW Post 1603 located at 588 Minot Avenue, Auburn, ME. The family would like to thank the hospice nurses for the compassion and care they showed dad in his last months.
