Biography:
Heaven has gained another angel
Augusta- Terry L. Greenleaf, 64, of Randolph passed away on October 2nd in Augusta after a long and complicated battle with cancer.
Terry was born on March 13th, 1960, to John W. Greenleaf, Sr. and Sylvia (Mason) Greenleaf. He was raised in Gardiner and graduated from Gardiner Area High School. He had fond memories of his childhood and school days. He married his high-school sweetheart, Tammy L. (Brown) Greenleaf in 1983. Then in 1991 they celebrated the birth of their first and only child Matthew J. Greenleaf. Terry’s family was his greatest love, and he was happiest living a quiet simple life with them. Which included his beloved pets, his cat Sadie and his dog Bear.
Terry was a hard-worker and dedicated 25+ years to Pine State.
Terry enjoyed sports; football (Jets) and NASCAR racing (Dale Earnhardt). He participated in softball and was a top-notch player for any team. He was recognized as MVP and was proud to have been state champion.
Terry had a unique ability to turn any situation positive. He always made people feel seen and heard. He had a quiet demeanor and excellent listening skills. His finest asset was his big, amazing heart.
He is predeceased by his wife Tammy L. Greenleaf, father John W. Greenleaf, Sr., sister Julie A. Greenleaf, brother Timothy R. Greenleaf, mother-in-law Eula Brown, sister-in-law Debbie (Brown) Ayotte and Aunt and Uncle Ida & David Greenleaf.
He is survived by his son Matthew J. Greenleaf, mother Sylvia Greenleaf, sister Diane L. Frederickson, brothers John W. (Nancy) Greenleaf, Jr., Randall T. (Marie Turgeon) Greenleaf, Michael T. (Shellie) Staples, brothers-in law Larry Ayotte and Jim (Heather) Brown, nieces Misty Michaud, Amber Michaud, Amy Stevens, and Samantha Jourdan, nephew Adam Greenleaf and many more family & friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 11am at the Litchfield Plains Cemetery on the Plains Rd. in Litchfield with his celebration of life to follow at a family camp on Black Rd, in Litchfield. Just follow the balloons!
