Biography:

Nicole Christine Gormley, 30, passed away on March 4, 2023 at Maine Medical Center in
Portland, Maine after battling a heart condition.
Nicole was born on September 4, 1992 to Michelle Dupree and Daryle Gormley in Rockledge,
Florida. She grew up surrounded by the love of her brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles and
grandmother. Anyone that was lucky enough to have crossed paths with Nicole fell in love with
her bright smile and contagious laugh. She cared deeply about everyone in her life, especially
her most precious gift, her daughter Dakota Raymond. Nicole’s bright smile and beautiful eyes
live on through her daughter.
Kola (a nickname her brothers granted her at a young age) loved hanging out with her friends,
being a goofball, laughing and spending time with her daughter. She enjoyed shopping for
new clothes and shoes, spending time with her family, singing in the car and helping anyone
she cared about. Loyalty was incredibly important to Nicole and no matter the situation, she
was always there for the ones she loved. Anyone that new Nicole knew that she was a special
soul. She had an immense passion for making everyone else happy and was always a positive
source in whatever group she was in.
She will be deeply missed by all that had the opportunity to know and love her. She is
survived by by her mother (or as Nicole would say, “Mommy”) Michelle Dupree, her father and
his wife, Daryle and Alicia Gormley, her brothers, Ryan Gormley, Josh Gormley and Cory
Paoletti, her daughter Dakota Raymond, Grams, Uncle Fred, Uncle Joe and Aunty Pam,
cousins Joey, Damon, Nick, Brandon, Keisha and countless friends. She is predeceased by
her her grandfather Fred Ross, her grandmother Ann Lovell and her mother’s better half, Stan
Johnson.
