Biography:
Mabel A. Goding, 90, of Auburn passed away on September 25th, 2017 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born in Auburn on February 22nd, 1927 to parents Albert and Florence (Davis) Gilbert Sr, and attended Turner Schools.
Mabel was an active member of Court Street Baptist Church until her failing health.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Goding; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.
Mabel leaves behind her 4 children, Joyce Goding, Nancy Simond and her husband Phil, Georgia Morin, and Walter Peach Jr. and his wife Joan; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 brother; and 1 sister.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Hospice for the outstanding care they provided to their mother.
At her request there will be no viewing. Burial will take place at a later date for family and friends. Donations may be made in Mabel’s honor to the Hospice House at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Avenue, Lewiston, Maine 04240.
