Biography:

Joan Elaine Gleason Levesque—Gray--Joan Elaine Gleason Levesque, 76, a long time resident of Gray passed away peacefully at her home August 19, 2023. Joan was born in Canton, Maine December 28, 1946 to Harry E. and Methyl Timberlake Gleason. She worked many years as a hand stitcher at Bass Shoe in Wilton. Joan enjoyed fishing, gardening and crafts. She is survived by her children, Kathy-Jo, Rick and his wife Erica, grandsons, Strummer and Gibson. Also siblings, Doris, Evy, Donna, Laurie and Roberts as well as longtime partner, Albert, his children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Stephen and Johnny. Joan is loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 1 at 4:30 p.m. At Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston where a visitation will also be held after the service from 5-7 p.m.
