Biography:
Lewiston- Roger Giguere, 86, of Gayton Rd. in Lewiston, died
Dec. 16th, 2012 at Marshwood Center.
He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 16th, 1926 the
son of Rosario and Anna Giguere.
He joined the Army and Air-Force, and has been employed by
the woolen Hill Mill until he retired.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and
attending family outings. He enjoyed playing the violin and organ. He was also
a mechanic, and enjoyed painting vehicles. He was a very caring person.
Roger was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine; two brothers,
Roland and Marcel; and an infant son, Raymond.
He is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Currier and
companion Robert Huntington of Turner, and Sandy and husband Paul Collins of
Turner; a son, Donald Giguere of Lolo, MT; and a stepdaughter, Diane Ingrisano
of Venice, Fl., twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Marshwood Center, and
Androscoggin Home Health.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22nd,
2012 from 9:00am to 11:00 am with a memorial service to follow at Funeral
Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, ME.
Committal will follow services in the chapel at St. Peter’s Cemetery,
217 Switzerland Rd., Lewiston.
