Biography:

Gardiner – Peter Gregory Giberson, 61, died of cardiac arrest October 17, 2010 at his home in Gardiner, ME.  He will be sadly missed by loving family and friends.

 

Peter was born in Gardiner on October 19, 1948, to Elizabeth and Albert Giberson of Farmingdale.  He graduated from Hall-Dale High School in 1967 and went on to work for the State of Maine designing software programs for the Department of Human Services, where he worked for 23 years.  Peter enjoyed working with computers, reading science fiction novels, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his two daughters and grandsons dearly and was very proud of them.

 

Peter is survived by his parents, Albert & Elizabeth Giberson of Farmingdale, two daughters, Petrah Jacques of Livermore Falls and Meagan King of Kennebunk, three grandchildren, Jackson Jacques, Cody Jacques, and Montgomery King, two brothers, Michael Giberson of Gardiner, Jeffrey Giberson of Gardiner, and two sisters, Melanie Hunter of Portland, and Suzanne Giberson of Hallowell.

 

The family will have a private memorial service on Sunday to celebrate his life.
