Jeannine Claudette "Claudie" Getchell 
1936 - 2011 

AUBURN - Jeannine Claudette Getchell, of 89  Western Promenade, Auburn, died
May 1st at the Androscoggin Hospice House following a long illness.  
Claudie was born in Auburn on November 24, 1936, the daughter of Joseph H.
and Bertha (Amnotte) Dionne.  
She graduated from Edward Little High School class of 1955.  She married
Ronald A. Getchell on June 21, 1958. They were married for 52 years.  
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. Besides her
husband, she is survived by two sons Ronald A. Getchell, Jr. and Scott J.
Getchell both of Auburn. Two grandchildren, Ryan and Meagan Getchell.
Claudie is survived by two brothers,  Roger H. Dionne of Easton, PA,
Wilfred and Frances Langelier of Wicomico Church, VA. One sister Georgette
"Jeri" and James Coulter of Dayton, OH. A sister-in-law Natalie and Kenneth
Alden of Leeds.  And several nieces and nephews.  
She was predeceased by her oldest sister Constance Barron of Concord, NH in
We would like to thank all of the care givers and doctors that helped her
during the difficult times. 

There will be no formal service.  The family will gather during the summer
to share stories and remembrances. Donations in Claudie's memory may be made
