Biography:

Norway- Loretta J. Gagnon Enman, 78 of Otisfield passed away peacefully on September 26th, 2022, surrounded by her family. Lorretta was born in Lewiston June 9th, 1944, to Rene and June Gagnon. She was a loving and devoted mother of her 3 sons Rene, Lauren, and Dana. Loretta was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren that she loved dearly. She worked for many years at her family’s business at Elm Street Variety in Mechanic Falls. When Loretta finally retired, she enjoyed spending time with her sister Rena Sawyer whom she adored picking berries with at Goss Berry Farm. Loretta was also an animal lover of all kinds when winter was near, she made sure she would feed the animals outside so they would not go hungry as she enjoyed watching them from afar. Loretta is survived by the following, her 3 sons Rene Foster and his wife Pauline of Lisbon, Lauren Foster and his wife Tammy of Otisfield, and Dana Enman Jr. of Otisfield. Her longtime partner Dana Enman Sr. of Otisfield, 3 sisters Rena Sawyer, Patty Pelletier, and Jean Smith. She also leaves behind her grand and great grandchildren. Loretta is predeceased by her parents Rene and June Gagnon, 2 brothers Joseph and David Gagnon, her sister Cindy Anannce, her brother-in-law Archie Sawyer and Bert Pelletier. The family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 26th from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the American Legion in Mechanic Falls. Anyone wishing to make a donation in her memory please donate to your local Humane Society as Loretta would have loved it.
