Biography:
David Everett Freeman, 61, of Lewiston, Maine died on Dec. 7, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born in Gardiner, Maine on April 19th, 1954. As a youth, David lived in Dresden, Maine. He attended the Dresden schools and Wiscasset High. Later on he made Auburn and Lewiston his homes. He worked as an auto body mechanic, worm digger, carpet installer, and volunteered at the Good Shepherd food bank. He enjoyed long walks, automobiles, the stock market and visiting with friends and family.
He is predeceased by his Father, Everett W. Freeman; Mother, Maxine M. Freeman (Chapman); Sister, Laurie Coburn and brother, Timothy, who died in infancy.
David is survived by his sisters, Patricia Freeman, Cheryl Brusgulis & and his brother, Tony Freeman. He leaves behind 2 nieces; Julie Bankovich and Valerie Zaganjori and a nephew, Luke Coburn as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and friends.
A special thank you to the nurses and other special folks at the Marshwood Center,. Thank you to the nurses from Androscoggin Hospice and for all the support from David’s friend Bob and his cousin Martha.
A private memorial ceremony will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Dresden, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
