Biography:
Marlene Nichols Fournier, 80, of Minot passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 8, 2017. She was born in Auburn, Maine on April 11th, 1937 to Dwight F. Nichols and Lillian (Stone) Nichols.
She will be remembered for her love of gardening, sewing, quilting, knitting, oil painting, house-building, dancing, crosswords, garage sales, card games, her loving dog, Baby, her delicious biscuits and all things chocolate.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lucien Fournier; and her two brothers, Robert Nichols and Dwight R. Nichols.
She is survived by her sister Lillian Dawn Denham; her four daughters, Brenda (Doug) Bradley, Rhonda McLain, Darlene (Robert) Major, Louann (Norman) Gauthier; nine granddaughters, eighteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Burial will take place privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society 55 strawberry Ave. Lewiston, Maine 04240.
