Mark Dwayne Fisher

Biography:

Mark Dwayne Fisher, 60, passed away on October 4th 2024 surrounded by his loved ones at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn. Mark fought a long, hard battle with cancer. Mark was born November 27th 1963 to Freda and Sylvio Fisher. 

On July 21st 1995 he married the former Peggy Sultan and together they enjoyed many adventures, spontaneous trips, visits to Holland and Canada, and as a true family man day trips and getaways with the kids and grandkids that lovingly called him bubby.

Mark was the true definition of a loving family man, loving husband, dad, and grandfather.

Mark graduated from Edward Little High School in 1983 and since graduation he worked at Future Guard as a carpenter and handyman. He considered Future Guard a home away from home not just a job. He had many close connections with his coworkers and considered them his second family. 

Mark had a larger than life personality even throughout his cancer journey he never lost his humor or his appetite for a good pizza. He loved watching the Red Sox, Cowboys and visits with family, friends and grandkids. 

He was predeceased by his parents Freda and Sylvio Fisher. He is survived by his wife Peggy Fisher, their shared children and their spouses, his special grandchildren, his sister in laws and extended families who loved him like a son. 

There will be a memorial celebration of life on Sunday November 24th, near his birthday, to complete his circle of life at the American Legion 426 Washington St N Auburn, ME from 2-5PM. Casual dress code or wear your Red Sox attire.
