Biography:

Vassalboro- Jeannette Marjorie Farrell passed away at home after a brief illness, on March 29, 2019.  

Jeannette was born March 20, 1942 in Waterville, ME to John Sherman and Ethelyn Sawyer. Jeannette attended and graduated from Erskine academy. 

Jeannette enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing, watching Nascar, and collecting. She had a deep admiration for John Wayne and spent time
watching many of his movies. 

Jeannette started her career at Hazard Shoe in Gardiner. Following her time in the shoe industry she began working as a custodian at the State House in Augusta, Oak Grove-Coburn School in Vassalboro, as well as Central Maine Power. 

She was predeceased by her sister, Jennie Ashby; her brothers, Kenny Ashby and Leroy Ashby. 

Jeannette is survived by her sons: Kenneth and wife Robin of Vassalboro and John Farrell of Vassalboro. Her two grandchildren Jennifer
and Ryan Farrell of Vassalboro.  As well as a great-grandchild, Gabriel Farrell of Waterville.
