Biography:

Helen M. Fairbrother—Lewiston--Helen M. Fairbrother, 78, of Lewiston died April 10 in Auburn following a short illness. She was born in Turner, October 29, 1944 a daughter of Henry and Madeline Snow Kelly. Helen got her education and her GED from Mechanic Falls schools. She was a homemaker and was part of the Colfax Rebekah Lodge #27. Helen enjoyed puzzles and knitting. She was predeceased by her parents, two husbands, John Willie and Bruce Fairbrother, children, Scott Thurston and Rose Mortimer and sister, Eleanor Everett and Marilyn Holt. Survivors include sons, Ray Thurston Jr. Stanley Mortimer, Steven Mortimer, John Willie, daughters, Iris George, Grace Mortimer and Marilyn Willie and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. At Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanic Falls.
