Donna Gail Dubay

Date of Death: February 16, 2022

Date of Birth: March 19, 1969

Biography:

With heavy hearts we must report that Donna Gail Dubay, 52, lost her month long, hard fought battle with COVID on February 16, 2022.

Donna was born on March 19, 1969 to Paul & Carole Dubay, in Pawtucket, R.I. The family moved to Norway, Maine In 1977. Donna attended local Norway schools and Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. When her parents separated, her mother, Donna and her two brothers moved to Texas and lived in several towns throughout the Midwest before returning to Maine.

Donna worked in the printing and food service industries and enjoyed serving her customers, while always smiling and calling them, “Sweetie!” The biggest love of her life was her many cats. She always worried about them while going through all the pain she was enduring as a result of her many medical issues. We thank Alicia St. Pierre, for the tender care she provided to the cats in her absence.

Donna is survived by her father and step-mother, Paul and Rose Dubay, her brothers Jeffrey and Jerry Dubay, her Aunts Jo Richardson and Jean Therrian, Donna’s boyfriend Ted LeClair, her cousins, David DeWitt, Denine Therrian Mulloy, Cheri Wilcox and Lorne Therrian. She was predeceased by her mother, Carole Dewitt Dubay Shelton, her Uncle Danny DeWitt, and her grandparents.

The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and the entire staff from the COVID- ICU at CMMC. They helped us to understand what they were doing to save Donna.
