Biography:
AUBURN-Maurice R. Dorais Jr., 74, of Sabattus passed away on Dec. 2nd, 2013 at the Hospice House in Auburn.
He was born on Jul. 29th, 1939 in Biddeford, Me to parents Maurice Sr. and Medora (Parent) Dorais.
Maurice enjoyed reading and watching the stock market.
He graduated from Thornton Academy and Casco Bay College.
Maurice worked in the Lewiston shoe shops, and then Sears, Roebuck and Co. until his retirement.
He is survived by his best friend Bruce Kaherl; his brother-in-law Gerald Moulin; and his cousins Norman Morin and Nancy Sammatoro.
A private committal will be held in the spring at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston, Me.
