Biography:

Peter Albert Donovan—Lisbon—Peter Albert Donovan, 29, of Lisbon passed away unexpectedly on January 3 at his family home in Lisbon. He was born on September 4, 1988 in Lewiston, a son of William and Sue Donovan. Peter grew up in Lisbon and was class president of the Class of 2006 at Lisbon High School. Peter was a member of Post 158 American Legion. He served in the Maine Army National Guard, and deployed with the Mountain Company to Afghanistan as a Mortorman in 2010. Peter loved large snakes and exotic animals which he tried to teach to his young nephew Grayson. He had a love for superman which many of his friends compared him to. Peter was the kind of person who would always try to help everyone and protect them if he could. Survivors include his parents, his siblings: Kelly Middleton and spouse Brooks and their children, Colin and Erin, William Donovan and spouse Celeste and their son, Owen, Colleen Donovan, Karen Donovan and son, Grayson, Haley Donovan and grandfather, Normand Lavigne. A celebration of Peter's life will be held on Sunday January 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the American Legion Post 158, 10 Webster Road, Lisbon.
