He was born on May 20, 1933 the son of Jerome and Jennifer Dodge.

Surviving are sons Mike Dodge and wife Vicky, Jack Dodge Jr., brothers Ronnie Dodge, Jerome Dodge Jr., and a sister Kathy Hart.
