Biography:

LEWISTON-Lucien Desrosiers Sr, 72 of Auburn Maine passed away at his home with his family by his side. Lucien was the son of Julien and Antoinette Desrosiers. He enjoyed gardening, farming, raising animals and spending time with his family. He loved to tell stories and to make people laugh, he loved to dance and was always the life of family events. 

He is survived by his wife, Ruie Foley whom he married on March 25, 1972. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last March. They have 6 children, Donna (Sherman) Varney, Elaine Desrosiers, Lucien Desrosiers Jr, Michael (Patricia) Desrosiers, Kelly (David) Perreault and Paul (Samantha) Desrosiers, 21 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also by his siblings, Roger, Roland, Maurice, Daniel, Donald, Doris and Lucille. 

He was predeceased by both of his parents, his brothers Gerry and Julien, his sisters Rita, Claire and Theresa and most recently, his great grand-daughter, Adalyn. 

A memorial gathering will be held on March 4, from 2-6pm at Funeral Alternatives at 25 Tampa Street in Lewiston, Maine.
