Biography:

Sheila Desgrosseilliers, 77, of Auburn, Maine passed away on Sunday November 14, 2021, with her devoted husband and family by her side. Sheila, born to George and Bernice Herrick on September 1, 1944, started and ended her life in Auburn, Maine. Getting married to her best friend, Edward Desgrosseiliers, in 1962, she started her life as a devoted Navy wife, traveling wherever Navy life took them. After Ed retired from the Navy, she settled in her husband's family home in Auburn and built a life with Ed and her 4 children. She attended college and beauty school, but Sheila's biggest accomplishment and joy in life was raising her family and making sure all her children attended and completed college, no matter what. Sheila's survivors include her husband of 58 years, all 4 children: Todd Desgrosseilliers and his wife Chris of Virginia, Greg Desgrosseilliers and his wife Denise of Virginia, Mark Desgrosseilliers and his partner Theresa Querey of Delaware and Carol Reed and her husband Charles of Arizona. She was the best grandmother and will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Kate Desgrosseilliers, Matthew Desgrosseilliers and his wife Briana, Gregory A. Desgrosseilliers, Taylor Desgrosseilliers, Emily Desgrosseilliers, Todd Desgrosseilliers Jr., Michael Desgrosseilliers, Adam Reed, Cate Conaty and Owen Conaty and her great grandchild Liam Desgrosseilliers. Sheila will also be missed by her brother George Herrick and his wife, Terry, her sister Bernice, her sister Sherry, and all of her nieces and nephews.
