Biography:
Greene - Rachel M. DeBlois (Roy), 67 of Greene passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025 with her family by her side. Rachel was born on August 31, 1957 to Raymond and Rita Roy. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1976. Rachel went on to start her family, having two children, Christopher and Christine. Later in life she then married Glenn DeBois and happily added Brittany and Colby to the family.
Rachel worked customer service, serving the Lewiston/Auburn community for years. Her smile and laughter brought joy to so many people. While she took pride in her work, there was no questioning the overwhelming pride and love she had for her family. She was a proud Mom and Nana, never hesitating to spend time cooking, baking, cleaning, or meeting the needs of her family. She especially looked forward to family dinners and sleepovers with her grandchildren and granddogs. She loved to laugh and never turned down a bowl of ice cream. Rachel will always be remembered for her kind smiles, caring nature, selfless generosity, and her famous chocolate chip cookies.
Rachel leaves behind her husband Glenn DeBlois and beloved cat Manny; children, Christopher, Christine & Chip, Brittany & Michael, and Colby & Emily; grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail, Nicholas, Sierra, George, Alivia, and Bennett. She also leaves behind three brothers Rick Roy and wife Denise, Robert Roy and wife Terry, Roger Roy and wife Irene. Her brother in law Ronald DeBlois and wife Madeline and sister in laws Sue Lindsey and husband Ted and Linda Charpentier and husband Roger. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Melissa Winchester for the amazing care and commitment she showed to Rachel and the family. Melissa’s empathy and humor kept a smile on Rachel’s face until the very end. The family will be forever grateful for her service.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 1st at 1pm at Hemond Farms, 695 Woodman Hill Rd in Minot.
