Biography:

Brunswick-Edward Gerard Dailey, Jr., 83, of Cumberland St. died on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Mid Coast Hospital, Brunswick.

He was born the son of Edward and Mary Nee Dailey on July 12, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Boston Latin School Alumni Association, Bates College Alumni Association, Knights of Columbus, Maine Masters Swimming, Brunswick Little League, Sea Scouts.

A life of service to the United States of America, first as a Navy officer, and later as a civil servant for the Navy Department.

Spending time with family, chatting with neighbors, playing Scrabble, coaching youth sports, swimming, reading aloud to children, traveling, studying geography, learning foreign languages, going for rides to beaches or mountains.

Edward is survived by his wife His wife of 61 years, Agnes B. Dailey, his four children, three grandchildren, and four siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 18th at 11am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 132 McKeen St. Brunswick, Me 04011. Reception following.

In lieu of flowers: a Memorial Gift, in his name for the children's collection of the Curtis Memorial Library 23 Pleasant St. Brunswick, Me 04011.
