Biography:

NEW AUBURN — Ronald Onile Crooker, 73, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, at Bolster Heights in New Auburn.

He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 27, 1941, the oldest son of Harold L. Crooker and Jeanette I. Moreau.

As a young man, he enjoyed driving his 1964 Oldsmobile 442 and watching Red Sox baseball. His love of the Red Sox continued throughout his life and he took great joy in the fact that after 86 years, the Red Sox won their first World Series on his 63rd birthday.

Ronald was predeceased by his father, Harold.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanette; his sister, Pauline Beckey of Minot; his brother, Dana Crooker of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
