Biography:
LEWISTON-Dianne P. Crawford, 67, of Casco, passed away on Sat. June 7th, 2014 at Marshwood Center in Lewiston with her family by her side.
She was born on April 15th, 1947 in Portland, Maine a daughter of Paul and Beatrice (Grant) Crawford. Dianne attended Portland schools, and graduated from Deering High School in 1965.
She worked for many years at Fairchild National Semiconductor, and was a legal secretary at several Portland law firms before she became disabled in 1993.
Dianne enjoyed playing bingo, poker, and scratch-off tickets. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, and a nephew, Johnny Daicy.
Surviving her are her three children, Kristine and her husband Paul Baillargeon; Cynde LaPierre; and Kevin his wife Shelly Kunz; three siblings, Gail Kennedy and her companion Bruce Oliver, Sherry and her husband John Daicy, and Paul and his wife Jane Crawford; six grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Shannon, Brandon, Briggs, and Lainey; her aunt, Sandra and her husband, John Scruton; her uncle George Crawford; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Marshwood Center’s Gilbert Hall who cared for, and loved Dianne, and also to Beverly and Sharon from Beacon Hospice for the compassion and care that you gave Dianne. We will be forever grateful.
