Biography:
Togus- Paul E. Cote, 65, of Lewiston, passed away on October 17, 2012 at Togus.
He was born on April 3, 1947 in Lewiston, the son of Omer and Florence (Dennison) Cote.
Paul was a disabled Vietnam Veteran and was a machinist by trade. He served as a crew chief on a helicopter in the 282nd Assault Helicopter Company, and was part owner of J.C. Plastics and C&C Seafood.
He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, antique cars and camping at the Birches Family Campground. Paul was a Mason and was also a member of the Eagles 618 and the VFW.
Paul was predeceased by both his parents.
He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years Merilda, son David of Lewiston, step-son Marc and fiancé Victoria of Auburn, step-daughters Donnella and fiancé Daina of Wales, Monica and fiancé Louis of Tampa, FL, his red-headed step-child Kathy of Lewiston, seventeen grandchildren and two and a half great grandchildren, two cousins Gerard Dennison of Auburn and Richard Turgeon of Lewiston and many, many close friends.
There will be a celebration of Paul’s life at the Eagles Club, 1327 Sabattus St in Lewiston at 1pm on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.
