Biography:

On Saturday, March22nd 2025, Steven R. Collins departed this life. At age 62, Steve passed quietly at 8pm in hospice care. He spent most of his life as a resident of Lewiston, Maine, and had a special reverence for home. Steve had many adventures when he went to live in Alaska for several years and brought lots of great memories and stories of those adventures back to Maine. Steven was also a life long lover of animals, music, nature and the arts. Many of his days were spent in the yard and among trees, blasting music, gardening (the biggest steak tomatoes you’ve ever seen!) while surrounded by dogs. He was passionate about his history of electrical work, and always had some project to tinker with. Steven joins his parents, Yolande and Arthur, as well as his recently departed cousin Denise in the afterlife. He is survived by his two siblings, Dawna Poulin and Tom Collins, as well as his daughter Emily Stevens and her children. A service will be held at St. Peters Cemetery on June 13th.
