Biography:

Mary E Colella of Lewiston Maine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She left this world February 15, 2022 after a brief illness at the age of 73.

Mary was born to Edward J Long, Jr and Mary E Long (Callahan) May 1, 1948. She was a long-time devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was involved with the Women’s Relief Organization as well as teaching children the word of God. Her passion as an adult was spending time with her daughter Lorraine and caring for her grandchildren Juliana & Anthony. She worked for many years in the Tele-marketing industry and always enjoyed her interactions with those she worked with.

Mary was predeceased by both of her parents, sister Patricia A Lynch (Long) and brothers Jerome M Long & William P Long. Survived by brothers Edward J Long III, Robert F Long & James H Long, daughter Lorraine M Colella, grandchildren Julianna & Anthony.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Central Maine Medical Center staff who cared for and comforted Mary in her final days.

Visiting hours will be Monday February 28 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Funeral Alternatives 25 Tampa Street Lewiston Maine. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
