Biography:

RANDOLPH – Mary Ann Chapman, 54, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, Novemeber 29th, 2012.

 

She was born on May 24th, 1958 in Gardiner, the daughter of Alfred J. and Helen C. (Tuttle) Taylor, the first of four children.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Cony High School class of 1977. Thereafter she met the love of her life Everett J. Chapman with whom she had 2 girls.

 

She loved flowers, gardening, crocheting, cooking, knitting, and spending time with her animals. She also loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren.

 

Mary worked as a CNA for years and most recently as a volunteer driver for KVCAP.

 

She is predeceased by her father Alfred J. Taylor; her beloved husband Everett J. Chapman; sister Cathy Taylor; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her two daughters Charity L. (Chapman) Dougherty and her husband John of Farmingdale, Helena A. (Chapman) Curtis and husband Joseph of Augusta; mother Helen C. (Taylor) Blais and stepfather Maurice Blais of Chelsea; mother-in-law Barbara McKechnie; brother David E. Taylor and girlfriend Dorothy Cormier of Chelsea; sister Debbie M. Stickney and husband Gordon “Tom” of Chelsea; beloved grandchildren Jonathan, Laura, Reece, Beanz, and Aggie; and she was looking forward to the birth of her latest grandchild Elliot Jacob.

 

Per Mary Ann’s request there will not be any viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help lower the cost of funeral expenses and sent to : Debbie Stickney, 16 Portobello Road, Chelsea, ME 04330. A spring burial is planned at the Putnam Cemetery, Route 126, Pittston, ME.
