Biography:

Augusta-  Marjorie Ann Chaplin of Augusta, Maine passed away February 8, 2024 at the Gray Brich Long Term Care Facility in Augusta. Born December 3, 1945. She was the only daughter of Floyd and Dorothy Reynolds. Marjorie grew up in Pittston and was a graduate of Gardiner High School. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, cooking and baking, sewing, and quilt making. Most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her family.

Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Dorothy Reynolds of Pittston. Husband, Merle Chaplin of Augusta, ex-husband, David Jackson Sr of Waterville and son, David Jackson Jr. of China.

Marjorie leaves behind three children, Sharon Jasper and her wife, Tina of Augusta, Todd Jackson, and his wife, Kathy of Waterville and daughter, Kim St. Amand, and her husband, Rick of Augusta.  Grandchildren, Elatia, Cejai, Keioun, Joshua, Baylee, Timothy and Benn. Great Grandchildren, Lilly, Camerin, Annabelle, Gavyn, Grayson, O’Shea, Tressa, Renna and Kamden.

There will be a graveside service at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 163 Mount Vernon Rd. In Augusta on March 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society located at 168 Leighton Rd., Augusta, ME
