Biography:
Lauretta M. Carbonneau, 84, of Lewiston, died on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Androscoggin Home Care Hospice House. She was born in Lewiston, November 10, 1931 the daughter of the late Otis and Aline Roy Comeau.
She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1950. Lauretta worked at Grants clothing store, St. Croix Credit Union and Clover Manor. On May 11, 1957 she married H. Paul Carbonneau. She enjoyed being a wife to Paul, a mother to their four children, and a grandmother to her six grandchildren. As an active member of her church, she was a CCD teacher, and a member of the Sodality of St Anne, as well as many prayer groups. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Lauretta loved roses, butterflies and spending time at the ocean.
She is predeceased by two sisters, Florence St. Hilaire and Lucille Comeau and five brothers Gerard, Laureat, Joseph, Raymond and Robert Comeau and one granddaughter Hope Anne Killam.
Lauretta is survived by her loving husband H. Paul of 59 years, also of Lewiston, son, Andre Carbonneau and partner Kathleen Libby of Auburn, daughter, Anne Killam and husband Glen of Contoocook, NH, daughter, Suzanne Davis and husband John of Mechanic Falls and a son, Louis Carbonneau and wife Marci Phillips of NY. a sister, Annette Plourde of Birmingham Alabama, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston on October 8th, 2016. from 11:30-12:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Church 1080 Lisbon St. at 1:00.
