Biography:
Marion Medrano Bunker, 82, of Leeds, ME passed away on Mon. April 14th, 2014 at her home.
She was born on July 21st, 1931 in Malden, MA to parents Hugh and Marian (McDermott) McGinley. She later moved to Maine with her husband to raise their family.
Marion enjoyed garage saling, practically lived at Marden’s, and was a member of Seniors Plus. She was a loving mother to all of her children.
Marion was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Norton; husband Sam; a son, Randy; and three brothers. Then there was her beloved Molly Girl whom she loved with all her heart. A pet couldn’t have found a better home.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Medrano, Elaine Medrano, Veronica Witherell, and Judy Damon; two sons, Brent Medrano, and Michael Medrano and his wife Jen; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on April 26th, 2014 at Leeds Plains Cemetery on Plains Rd. in Leeds, ME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion’s memory to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, 55 Strawberry Ave. Lewiston, Maine 04240.
