Biography:

Eleanor L (Gilpatrick) Brown passed away on April 1, 2024. She was born in Whiting, Maine, on April 12, 1930, and married Leighton Brown on May 20, 1949 in Washington County where they both grew up. 

Eleanor was the beloved mother of Brenda, Lee, Craig, Jay and Terri-Jo, and she loved her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Some years ago, she worked at the Freeport Shoe Company and the Eastland Shoe Company until their closure. Eleanor retired after working happily at the Freeport Middle School.
