Biography:
LEWISTON – Peter H. Brown Sr., 68, of Leeds passed away on January 9, 2010 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born in Boston, MA on December 11, 1941 the son of Sherman and Frances (Teel) Brown. He grew up in Leeds where he met and married Theresa Burgess on December 17, 1960 in Greene, ME. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He was self employed doing business as Pete’s Drywall since the 1960’s. He taught many people, including his sons, the art of drywall and was best known for his swirled ceilings.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Theresa, and their children Darlene Frizzell and Mark of Woburn, MA; Kelly McKay and Kevin of Auburn; Laurie Goulet of Santa Clarita, CA; Peter Brown Jr. and Ann of Leeds; Terence Brown and Rita of Livermore Falls; Kevin Brown and Jennifer of Turner; Sherri Hathorne and Wayde of Greene. He is also survived by his brothers Noel, Fred and Jan Brown and sisters Pat Crane and Martha Dulac as well as 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother Tom Caswell, and an infant son Jeffrey.
