Biography:

Randolph-Major Alton A. Brown, 97, died on September 1, 2017 at USVA Togus.
He was born in Richmond the son of Alfred and Naomi (Marson) Brown. He graduated from Mexico High School. He married his wife Doris M. Civitarese at Fort Williams, South Portland in 1949.
Alton served his country in the United States Army during WWII and Korea, retiring
after a distinguished 20-year career.
Alton was predeceased by his parents, wife Doris, stepson Elwell Civitarese, brothers Clyde, Austin, Darryl, George, Donald and Gerald Brown, and sisters Sylvia Ladd, Madelyn Ladd, Madge Libby, Shirley Hurley and Norma Brown. He is survived by his sister Arlene Geddes of Brunswick, and brothers Charles of Whitefield and Neal and wife Priscilla of Bowdoinham as well as several nieces and nephews.
Honoring Alton' s request, there will not be any services.
