Biography:

Doris “Dolly” A. Bragdon, 83, of New Gloucester, passed away at CMMC on Sept. 9, 2011.

She was born May 22, 1928 in Casco, she was the daughter of the late James Perley and Bertha M. Bryant.

Dolly graduated from New Gloucester High School in 1946, and was a homemaker. She married Wallace Bragdon. Jr. on Aug. 9. 1968. She was a proud member of the Lunn-Hunnewell AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.

Dolly is survived by her husband, Wallace; her sister Dot MacDonald and Husband Bob of Portland; and her sister Marilyn “Lynn” Bryant of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her parents, 3 sisters, and 5 brothers, and an infant son.

A memorial service will be held at the 1st Congregational Church on 19 Gloucester Hill Road New Gloucester, ME, Wednesday Sept. 14th, at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bragdon Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O AMVETS Post #6 P.O. Box 301 New Gloucester, or to a charity of your choice
