Biography:

Joseph P. Brady—Auburn--Joseph P. Brady, Joe, passed away July 24, 2023 at home. He was born November 26, 1975 in Lynn, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas and Gail Laverdiere Brady. Joe was educated in Beverly and Hamilton, Massachusetts, a proud vocational graduate and grew to impact countless lives as an Adaptive Seating Specialist for the State of Massachusetts. Most recently, he worked for Central Distributors in Lewiston , dedicating most of his time to his family and friends. An avid fisherman, Joe scoured the Maine coast for the perfect fishing spot, catching friends, turtles, and memories along the way. Joe picked up the guitar at 33 and quickly mastered his favorites, sharing his love for his family and friends through laughter and songs. Joe reveled in dad jokes with his children, silly puns and dad stereotypes, always ready with whatever power tool or grill spatula needed. Quick to laugh, happy to share a smile or listen, and the first to help, Joe will be missed deeply. He was predeceased by his fishing teacher, friend and father Thomas Brady. Survivors are his adoring and beloved wife Becky Brady, his children: Ryder Brady and his partner Flynn Leonard, of Lowell, Massachusetts, twins Tucker and El Brady, of Auburn, Maine, his mother, Gail Brady and brother Mitchell Brady of Ipswich, Massachusetts, and his sister, Tiffany Purcell and son Kyle of Danvers, Massachusetts and her son Trevor of Burlington, Massachusetts. Survivors also include many cousins, old and new friends and extended family who love him. Visitation will be Thursday, August 3 from 5-7 p.m. At Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa Street, Lewiston.
